A) Pant Pradhan Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojna

• Bank has tied up with LIC India.
• PMJJBY is a term Life insurance scheme, renewable every year, offering life cover in case of Death due to any reason.
• You have to open Savings Bank account, in the age groups of 18-50.
• Annual insurance premium payable is just RS 330/-.

B) Pant Pradhan Suraksha Bima Yojna

• Bank has tied up with ICICI Lombard.
• PMSBY is an accident insurance scheme of RS 2 lakh sum assured hardly paying a yearly premium of RS 12.
• Policy should be renewed every year.
• The accident cover to the member will terminate on attaining the age of 70 or due to closure of account with bank or insufficiency of balance to honour timely premium in order to keep insurance in force.
